Tradebe acquires a French company Fabster
Barcelona, 21 March 2024. Tradebe Life Sciences has expanded its international presence through the acquisition of the French company Fabster, a food flavourings producer with a presence in France, its overseas French territories, the Middle East, and Africa.
Fabster is a French company founded in 2000 specialized in the production of food flavourings. The company currently serves nearly 400 customers in more than 40 countries, employs 23 people and generated revenues of around 6 million euros by the end of 2023. Fabster has an extensive range of certifications that guarantee its expertise in the sector; ISO 22000, ECOCERT, Kosher, and Halal. Jean-Philippe Mouthoy, its founder, will continue to lead the Fabster project, working closely with the Cosmos team to facilitate and streamline the integration process.
This acquisition responds to Tradebe Life Sciences’ strategic plan for its F&F division, through which it will reinforce growth and strengthen its presence in the sector thanks to the expansion of its production capacity and the increase of the countries in which it will operate, essential characteristics to develop the business.
According to the Flavours & Fragrances CEO, Albert Capella, “this acquisition reinforces our clear commitment to the sector and provide us a team with extensive experience in the creation of flavours as well as a very significant and complementary client portfolio”.
During this operation, TAE Europe acted as M&A advisor, Smalt Avocats as legal advisors, and Nexia as financial advisor.
In April 2022, Tradebe acquired Cosmos Aromática Internacional, a food flavourings company with 70 years of experience in the sector and an international business reach.
