Tradebe participated in the Hospital Trust Open Day at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on the 25th of June alongside our partner facilities management company ISS.
The Hospital Open Day was attended by hospital staff and more than 1,600 people for across the local community. The event promoted the full range of services that the hospital provides and celebrated the wonderful work of the staff at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Tradebe in partnership with ISS, are the chosen suppliers for healthcare waste management services for the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We provide the collection, transportation, treatment and final disposal, as well as ancillary services such as training and compliance.
Adrian Giles (Healthcare Business Manager – South) represented Tradebe at the Open Day - “These events provide a great opportunity for the local community, staff and hospital service providers to connect and share a wealth of relevant knowledge, experiences and provide feedback.
“We have worked with the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for many years, so we are already well established within the Trust. However, the event gave us another avenue to connect directly with staff to promote sustainability, safe practice and waste segregation, as well as receiving feedback.
“We also met with members of the public who were interested to learn the waste management process, in particular our healthcare treatment options. It is extremely beneficial for the general public to have some understanding of the importance of correct waste management and sustainability in the hospital environment.
